RENAULT MÉGANE COUPÉ

      Its construcion is based on a first-rate chassis with perfect riding characteristics. A good field of vision and outstanding riding stability enhance the level of Mégane Coupe's safety. The structure of the passenger´s department was constructed and attested in order to turn the body frame into a "shield" against any danger. Its perfect system of the interior protection includes elements like crumple zones and safety door reinforcements. Two 3-point anchoring seat belts with pyrotechnic pre-tensioners on the front seats ensure the safety of the driver and the front passenger.

The theft protection
     is one of the strongest points in the concept of Mégane. All its versions are equipped by a new system of blocking the starting of an engine.This system is connected to the electronically controlled engine unit. It is integrated in the car construction so well that it is almost impossible for a thief to discard it. This system is joined by an infra-red remote control of the central locking of the door. Encoding by code succession does not give a chance of decoding it even to well equipped thieves. Renault made its best for your and your car´s safety.

High credibility
      is one of the main aims of the Renault company. Mégane Coupé made another step forward regarding the quality, credibility and safety. Innovation of the engines and other innovations such as the system of programmed fastening, which reduces the belt pressure on the body in case of an impact or an "intelligent wiper" system, do shift Mégane Coupé forward. The quality and credibility of a car are usually judged by its engine characteristics. That is why a new class of 1,6 l (90 Hp) engines was created. This class is characterized by a number of technical innovations and improvements. Due to the multi-injection and improved engine head the torque was enhanced as well as the dynamics at lower consumption and first-rate performance. You can choose 1,6 l engine or a new  16-valve 2,0 l engine (150 Hp).
