RENAULT MÉGANE
      Mégane attracts you by its long front ovehang. In contrast with the solid rear it gives the car a dynamic and powerful design. The finishing touches of the Mégane design are its front with elegant drawn-out headlamps, rounded lines of the bodywork and elegant rear headlamps.

Mégane Interior Offers Comfort
      The Mégane seats offer comfort, certainty but also sportive feeling of the drive both to the driver and to the passengers. Horizontal, vertical and inclination positions of the front seats are adjustable. The car is equipped by two or four-spoked steering wheel placed perfectly in order to correspond with the axis of the seat. It is possible to adjust the height of the steering column to satisfy any driver´s wishes. All of the instruments on the control panel are well-arranged and easy to reach."Intelligent wiper" system is an interesting novelty making the operation of the car easier. .The theft protection
     is one of the strongest points in the concept of Mégane.. All its versions are equipped by a new system of blocking the starting of an engine.

This system is connected to the electronically controlled engine unit. It is integrated in the car construction so well that it is almost impossible for a thief to discard it. This system is joined by an infra-red remote control of the central locking of the door. Encoding by code succession does not give a chance of decoding it even to well equipped thieves. Renault made its best for your and your car´s safety.

The passenger´s cabin
      of Mégane model was constructed and attested in such a way that the body frame would mean a real shield against possible danger. Side door reinforcements in co-operation with the crumple zone system create a perfect system of an interior protection. Both front and rear passengers are protected by 3-point seat belt anchorage with pre-tensioners on front seats. A novelty was used on the front seats -- system of programmed fastening. All of the seats were designed to prevent sliding of the body under the belt in case of an impact. Front and rear headrests, airbags and ABS system accompany these basic safety features.

High credibility
     is one of those requirements that Mégane fulfils in full. Already Renault 19 became a synonym for the quality and credibility. Mégane made another step forward. System of programmed fastening reduces the belt pressure on the body in case of an impact, "intelligent wiper" system modifies the speed in accordance to the driving speed, innovation of the engines and other improvements shift Mégane far ahead of the others. Enormous number of technical innovations and improvements characterizes this class.
