      When you sit in the Safrane car you get immediately a strong feeling of comfort. You'll notice its  well-illuminated interior, panoramic windows, charm of the leather and a new upholstery. There is enough space for you and for other passengers. There is an on-board computer, all of the control elements are easy to reach. There are pushes controlling the receiver and illumination on the steering wheel column. You may appreciate the softness of the seats with adjustable flexibility of its segments (Ergomatic equipment), central armrests in front and rear are practical. The car is equipped by air condition, the temperature set up can be made by the driver or the font passenger. Thanks to the sun sensor air condition activates automatically.
      Driving with the power assistance operating in variable mode and the silence make you calm. The noise of the engine and the noise of driving is isolated. You can talk without raising your voice. If you like music, the loudspeaker system turnes this car into a concert hall.
      Safrane thinks of your safety day and night
      The night becomes safer with new lights. Safrane starts a little revolution on the field of illumination with new discharge lamps equipping the front headlamps. Xenon discharge lamps illuminate a large area in the dimmed light regime. The light flow is multiplied comparing to the regular bulb. The visibility is enhanced of about 30 metres. Safrane cars are one of the first cars using this high technology. New discharge lamps give more light, consume less energy and the useful life is longer. The light flow was also 20 per cent enhanced with the new discharge lamps.
     Safrane´s steering is perfect. The cars are equipped by ABS system. This car is easy to manage and without any problems adapts on the road. It also keeps a perfect stability when passing a curve.
Prevention and protection
     Renault Safrane´s equipment has been designed in order to protect the most valuable thing you have -- your life. Renault specialists concentrated on side impacts that cause one third of mortal injuries. The car is fitted by side airbags at the driver´s side and at the side of the front passenger. They open in case of an impact within 20 thousandth of a second. The chest and the bottom part of the body of the passengers are better protected though. Safety belts with programmed fastening system are one of the features which make Safrane an outstanding car. This system slowly reduces the seat belt pressure in case of an impact. After the impact a pyrotechnic device placed on the bottom part of the seat frame relaxes in a few hundreths of a second. The passenger is tightened to the seat. The belt with the belt retractor is blocked and the seat belt pressure reduces slowly thanks to the programmed fastening system. The airbags activate at the same moment. All of this happens within few thousandths of a second.
      A number of tests in the test rooms and a lot of collision tests led to the result beyond all standards. Let us mention also firmer structure of the rear seats´ backrests, which does not allow the luggage to enter the interior in case of an impact. The rear seats are also fitted by a special anchorage of the seat belts, which makes the sliding of the body under the belt impossible.
