ESPIDER Franco Sbarro, constructor well known for his
original ideas, created in cooperation with students of his design centre Espero an
interesting combination of two completely different Renault cars: large-capacity model
Espace and sportive Spider. That is why this five-seat vehicle was given the name Espider.
Properly reinforced body reminds a little bit of Espace but these two models share minimum
of parts. V-6 engine with 143 kW performance was chosen as the power unit. Extravagant car
could be seen on 24 hours Le Mans this year.
